Manchester Utd in 1/8 Champions League
Devils won against Benfica 3-1 and managed not only to advance into further phase of the tournament, but also to come back on the first place, due to the fact that Celtic lost to Copenhagen 1-3. What a turn of events that was!
Back to the game, though. It didn't begin well, as in 27th minute Nelson managed to put the ball into the net after quite a good shot from distance, leaving Van der Sar with no chances. Although Portugese players may have thought it will bring back the situation from the previous year, soon they were to discover what a big error they did underestimating Red Devils. In 45th minute Vidic shot an equaliser with his head after a corner, so the second half commenced in good moods and even better, fierce attitude led by aggressive attacks of Saha, Rooney and Ronaldo. Finally it happened - Ronaldo rushed from the right wing, passed it high into the centre and Giggs managed to shoot one with a headie. Then Saha did the similar thing, again from the corner. Pity there was no 4th goal. What Manchester proved is their great shape, despite the temporary weak play from Ronaldo.

Well it appears I'm writing my first post in here, and actually the first blog-post ever. How thrilling it feels!
I won't beat around the bush with this welcome-talk and just tell you what to expect from my own spot. News, news, news - probably mainly coming from the e-sport scene, but various parts of it and written in casual language. Unlike other sites I'm writing at, here I don't mind the formality. I like it! In addition, you'll find something about windsurfing - my beloved hobby - and maybe 'classic' sports, like basket or football. Enjoy!
